Midterm Presentation

Over the last few weeks I have been developing the midterm presentation for the project. This midterm is comprised of the first three chapters of the project, Introduction/problem, Research, and Design Concept.

In these three chapters I've broken down my concept, proved its significance, and developed several iterations of the proposed solution. My project begins with the problem of homeless people being unprepared for rain and wind in their day to day lives. To solve this, I came up with the proposed idea of a lightweight form of weather protective clothing that people would be able to easily carry with them.

In Chapter 2, I discuss the research methodologies I used to arrive at the conclusion that the proposed solution is the correct one. My research regarding the subject, including online studies as well as surveys, show that most people are vulnerable to not being prepared for the weather. The online survey showed that many people had either felt anxiety or became ill due to changes in the weather.

In Chapter 3 I began to disseminate the different inspirations and approaches to branding I would undertake with this assignment. There are several photos of examples that I originally used as inspiration, as well as how my product is similar and different. The branding of my project has still yet to be fully cemented.
